Some members may see a prompt in the ABCmouse Classic app asking them to resubscribe, even though their ABCmouse membership is active and in good standing.
This can happen if the device has not recently logged into the ABCmouse app, causing the ABCmouse Classic app to be unable to immediately recognize the active subscription.
Workaround
To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:
- Download and open the ABCmouse app (not the ABCmouse Classic app) on the same device.
- Log in using the parent account email and password.
- Once successfully logged in, close the ABCmouse app.
- Hard close or uninstall the ABCmouse Classic app.
- Relaunch (or reinstall and open) the ABCmouse Classic app while still logged into ABCmouse.
After completing these steps, the ABCmouse Classic app should properly recognize the active subscription and allow access without prompting for resubscription.
