One way to personalize your child's learning experience is by making sure they are on the appropriate level. When your family initially signs up for a membership, you can create an Avatar for your child and place them on a specific Academic Level.
Normally, your child will follow the Step-by-Step Learning Path and graduate to the next level. While each level has been carefully planned by a curriculum specialist, we noticed over time that many children may find other interests on ABCmouse and slowly navigate away from this traditional way of completing activities.
Here's an example: A child started ABCmouse when they were two years old. While they have completed various activities, they have not completed their Learning Path. Since completing the Learning Path graduates a child to the next level, the content presented to this child will still be for the lower level and may not be challenging enough if they are now older.
If your family has been with ABCmouse for more than a few years, you will notice that our program is now advancing your child to a higher level based on how many years have passed since becoming a member.
We've now designed ABCmouse to Auto-Graduate children to ensure that they receive relevant content for their Academic Level.
While this feature is now in place, parents and caregivers will still have the ability to place their children on a different level.
