Your ABCmouse account uses one email address and one password for logins. While you can create up to three child profiles within an ABCmouse Premium plan, all profiles are accessed using the same one account login (email and password). Each child profile includes its own avatar, settings, and learning path progress, but there can only be one set of login credentials per account (no additional or guest logins for other adults). This article provides all the additional details you need to know about account logins and child profiles.
One ABCmouse Login Per Account
When you sign up for and create an ABCmouse account, you choose your account login, which is required to be:
One email address
One password
Your chosen email address and password will be your account login credentials, which are used whenever you need to log in to the program. You should save this information for future reference.
At this time, ABCmouse supports only one set of login credentials per account. Multiple email addresses or separate passwords cannot be assigned to individual child profiles or additional adults.
Changing or Recovering Your Account Email and Password
If you ever forget your password or the email address associated with your account, you can
If you are able to log in, you can change your account email and/or password by clicking Manage My Account under Settings.
Creating Child Profiles
An ABCmouse Premium plan allows you to create up to three child profiles under one membership. Each child profile is accessed after logging in with the same account credentials.
To add a child profile:
Log in to your ABCmouse account using your email and password.
Select the profile icon in the upper-left corner.
Click Settings at the bottom of the left side panel that opens.
Click the +Add icon under Edit Child Profiles.
Fill in the requested information and click Save.
After creating a child profile, there are two ways for your child to customize the Avatar for their profile:
-
Go to the My World section of the program and click on the Avatar there to open the Avatar builder.
- Click on the profile icon in the upper-left and then click the edit (pencil) icon to open the Avatar builder.
What Each Child Profile Includes
Although all profiles share the same login credentials, each child profile has its own:
Avatar
Age and grade settings
Learning path settings for both Reading and Math
Rewards and tickets
Personalized learning experience
This allows each child to enjoy ABCmouse at their own level while keeping progress separate within the same account.
No Additional Logins for Other Adults
We understand that families may want separate logins or guest accounts for different adults, such as:
One login for each parent
A parent and grandparent
A caregiver or guardian
However, ABCmouse does not support multiple adult logins under one account. All adults who need access to the account must use the same email address and password.
For security, we recommend you do not share login information, and if you do it is only with trusted adults, and you keep your password secure at all times.
