Learn how to log in and out of ABCmouse Classic on computers, tablets, and smartphones. This article provides step-by-step instructions for accessing your account, switching users, and managing sessions across devices. Whether you're a new or returning user, these tips will help ensure a smooth sign-in experience.
After signing up for an ABCmouse Classic account, you only need to log in for your child to start learning from anywhere. These steps will vary depending on the device you’re using, so please read the respective instructions below:
Mobile Phones and Tablets
Logging In
Make sure you have downloaded the ABCmouse Classic app from your device's app store. You can then launch the mobile app to access your account.
Logging in to your ABCmouse Classic account on your supported mobile phone or tablet is easy. Follow the steps below to log in:
- Open the ABCmouse Classic app.
- On the Welcome page, select Log In.

Enter your email address and password, then tap Log In.
Logging Out
Ready to log out? Follow these steps:
- Open the ABCmouse Classic app.
- Tap the Gear icon at the top of your child’s Homepage.
- Tap the Lock button to log out.
Desktop Web Browser
Logging In
To use ABCmouse Classic through a web browser on your computer, you can log in by following the steps below:
Visit ABCmouse.com from a supported web browser. On the homepage, select Log In.
Enter your email address and password, then click Log In.
You may see a prompt to download the app onto your mobile device. If so, you can either scan the QR code (see screenshot below) or click the appropriate app store button to be redirected.
To access the web version instead, select Continue in Browser.

Because you have used both the original ABCmouse Classic and the new ABCmouse app, the first time go to this log-in page you will be asked which web experience (ABCmouse or ABCmouse Classic) you would like. Click on ABCmouse to continue to the ABCmouse web experience.
Note: This will set your preference for ABCmouse and you will not see the choice screen again on this browser/device unless you log out and fully clear all cookies and site data.
Logging Out
If you’d like to log out after your session, follow these steps:
Click the Gear icon at the top of your child’s Homepage.
Select the Lock button to log out.
Desktop App
Logging In
To use the ABCmouse Classic desktop app on your computer, you'll need to have it downloaded on your device first. If you haven't downloaded the desktop app yet, please see the steps below. You will be prompted to log in when you launch the app for the first time.
Download the ABCmouse Classic desktop app on your computer.
Open the app.
When prompted, enter your email address and password, then click Log In.
To log in on the desktop app, follow the steps below:
- After opening the ABCmouse Classic desktop app, you will be presented with a Log In page.
- Enter the email address and password, and then select Log In.
Logging Out
Ready to log out? Follow the steps below:
- Open the ABCmouse Classic desktop app.
- Select your child's Name at the top of the Homepage.
- Select Log Out.
