ABCmouse is available for Kindle Fire and Amazon Fire tablets through the Amazon Appstore. We recommend you visit the Appstore directly from the Fire device you want to use; the ABCmouse app will only appear in Appstore search results if it is confirmed as compatible with that device by Amazon.
Follow the steps below to download and start learning on your Amazon device.
- On your Kindle Fire or Amazon Fire tablet, locate and open the Amazon Appstore.
- Tap the search bar at the top of the Amazon Appstore.
- Type “ABCmouse” and press Enter or tap Search.
- Find ABCmouse in the search results. (See Amazon Compatibility Check below...)
- Tap Get or Download to install the app on your tablet.
- Once the download is complete, tap Open to launch ABCmouse.
- Sign in with your existing ABCmouse account, or create a new account if you’re just getting started.
Tips for a Smooth Experience
- Ensure your tablet is connected to Wi-Fi during download and setup.
- Make sure your device is running the latest version of Fire OS for optimal performance.
- If you encounter issues, try restarting your tablet and checking for Appstore updates.
Amazon Compatibility Check
To confirm if your device is supported, please search for ABCmouse directly using the Appstore app on your Fire device. If the ABCmouse app appears in your search results with a Get or Download button, your exact device model is confirmed as compatible.
If it is not compatible, the ABCmouse app will be completely hidden from Appstore search and categories.
We recommend checking the Appstore directly on the device you will use rather than a web browser, as web browser compatibility lists can sometimes show outdated or inactive devices from your account history. Appstore compatibility recommendations can also be affected if you have multiple amazon accounts or profiles in your home.
