Restoring your subscription is a common app store process that ensures your purchase is correctly linked to your device so you can continue enjoying ABCmouse without interruptions. This article explains how to restore your subscription on Apple, Google Play, and Amazon platforms, depending on where the original purchase was made.
Before You Restore Your Subscription
You must restore your purchase on the same device it was originally made on and be signed into the same appstore account you used to purchase the subscription.
If the purchase was made on your child’s device, you’ll need to complete the restoration there—even if you were the approver on their Apple ID purchases.
For Apple: Check your Apple receipt to confirm the billed Apple ID and ensure you are on the correct device.
For Amazon: Check your order history at Amazon Orders. to see which device or profile the subscription was sent to. You can also visit your Amazon Subscriptions to confirm details.
If you see a “Sign Up” option at the bottom of the screen, the purchase was likely made on that device, and you should proceed with restoration steps there.
If you only see a “Log In” option and activities remain locked after logging in, the purchase may have been made on another device. If you are sure you’re on the correct one, proceed with the restore process.
Steps to Restore Your Subscription

Log into the correct app store account:
On Apple devices: Sign in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
On Android devices: Sign in with the same Google account used for the original purchase.

Open the ABCmouse app.
Click the Avatar icon in the upper-left.
Click Settings at the bottom of the "Who's Playing?" panel.
Tap Restore Purchase.

Depending on your account status:
If you have not created an account, a loading spinner will briefly appear, and you’ll be directed to the account creation page.
If you already have an account, tapping the button will prompt a confirmation message and restore your access.
If Nothing Happens When You Tap “Restore Purchases”
This usually means you are not signed into the correct Apple ID, Google account, or Amazon Appstore account/profile.
Double-check your app store account settings and try again.
