If you are experiencing issues with the ABCmouse app, try the following:

Confirm your Amazon Kindle is compatible:
- Minimum Device: Kindle Fire HD 8 and HD 10 (8th Gen)

Make sure device OS is up to date:

For software updates, please follow the instructions below:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Device Options.
- Select System Updates.
- Select Check now.

Confirm you have connectivity:
- Run a speed test on your device and compare your results with our recommendations.
- Minimum Bandwidth per Concurrent User:
- Upload: 100 Kb/second
- Download: 2 Mb/second
- Connection Quality:
- Packet Loss: 0%
- Jitter: < 40 ms
- Minimum Bandwidth per Concurrent User:
- Run a speed test on your device and compare your results with our recommendations.

Uninstall/Reinstall the ABCmouse app:
- Go to More > Applications > Installed Applications > select ABCmouse > and tap Uninstall.
- Power cycle your device by turning it off for one (1) minute.
- Go to the Kindle Apps Store and reinstall ABCmouse.
- Clear app cache and data:
- Open the Settings menu.
- Select Apps & Notifications.
- Select Manage All Applications or See all...apps and choose the ABCmouse app.
- Select Storage, tap to Clear Data or Clear Storage, then Clear Cache.
- Manage the Profile Settings in Amazon Kids:
- You may need to add ABCmouse to a Child's Amazon Kids Profile. To see Amazon's instructions on how to do so, click here.
