ABCmouse offers both virtual Gift Codes (digital purchase delivered electronically) and physical Gift Cards (traditional physical gift cards purchased in the ABCmouse Shop) that can be used to provide Premium access to the program without creating a recurring subscription.
This article explains how to purchase ABCmouse gift memberships, how recipients can redeem Gift Codes for memberships, and important information about Gift Cards, Gift Codes, and subscription activation.
Important:
- ABCmouse gift memberships do not automatically renew.
- Gift codes and gift cards provide Premium access for a fixed term (1 year or 2 years).
- Purchasing a gift code or gift card does not automatically create an ABCmouse subscription.
- The recipient must redeem the code before using ABCmouse.
How to Purchase an ABCmouse Gift Code
ABCmouse memberships can be purchased as a digital Gift Codes here. If you are on the ABCmouse.com web homepage (prior to logging in), you'll see a Give a Gift link. Click the link to start the quick and easy ABCmouse gift code purchase process.
When you buy an ABCmouse Premium code as a gift, you will have a choice of a one- or two-year membership. These gift memberships are not recurring subscriptions and will not automatically renew at the end of the purchased term. They will offer full, Premium access to the program, but at a one-time cost and for only the set timeframe you choose to purchase (so you won't have any surprises later).
How to Redeem an ABCmouse Gift Code
If you received an ABCmouse Gift Code, you can redeem it here to begin using ABCmouse or add the gifted membership term to an existing account.
Non-Members: If you are not currently an ABCmouse subscriber, simply type the ABCmouse gift code you have into the New Members box and click Submit.
- Current Members: If you already have an ABCmouse account and want to apply the 1 or 2 years from the gift code to your account, click the "click here" link above the New Members box and enter your ABCmouse login information. The Gift Code membership term will be added to your existing account after redemption.
ABCmouse Gift Cards
The ABCmouse Shop also offers physical Gift Cards for a 1-year ABCmouse Premium subscription that you can give to a friend or family member. Like our virtual gift codes, these gift cards are not regular, renewing subscriptions. They provide full Premium access to ABCmouse for a one-year term for a one-time purchase price of $45.
Important: Purchasing a gift card from the ABCmouse Shop or creating an ABCmouse Shop account does not create an ABCmouse subscription.
You may enter your email address and other personal information as part of the Shop purchase process, but you (or whoever you give the card to) will need to redeem the gift card here to create your ABCmouse subscription and get started using the program. A Shop account is not an ABCmouse subscription.
Third Party Gift Cards
Third-party gift cards cannot currently be used to purchase or redeem ABCmouse subscriptions, gift memberships, gift codes, or gift cards. To subscribe, please use a valid credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or one of the digital payment methods we accept (you'll see your options on the Select Your Plan screen during signup).
