A magic link offers you a ”passwordless” way you can log in whenever you need to. All you need is access to the email address you used to create your ABCmouse account. Click Send login link on the app or web login screen and we'll email you a secure, one-click link that signs you straight in.

What Is a Magic Link?
A magic link is a secure login link sent directly to your email address., which you can use instead of a password. Simply click the link in your email and you (and your child) are instantly signed in to ABCmouse. It's fast, simple, and secure.
No special setup is required. You'll see this option on the regular ABCmouse login screens. Magic link is available to ABCmouse subscribers as an alternative to signing in with your password — you can choose whichever method you prefer each time you log in. If you're good with passwords, there's no reason to change. If you forget your password, this login link sent to your email can be a lifesaver.
Where Does This Work?
For users of our new ABCmouse program, the magic link login option will be available to sign in to the program whether you're logging in through the ABCmouse app (v. 1.64+) as well as from the ABCmouse.com website via a browser.
It will work to log in two devices at a time:
- The device where you request the login link
- The device where you click on the login email
However, this login link option is not yet available for signing in to ABCmouse Classic. If you use ABCmouse Classic, you'll continue to sign in with your email and password as usual. It is also not for ABCmouse Basic users, who do not have accounts they need to log in to.
How to Sign In with a Magic Link
Tip: Most parents or caregivers will want to initiate the magic link sign-in process from the device of the child who needs to log in.
Step 1: Open the ABCmouse app or go to https://www.abcmouse.com/abc/login/ with your web browser.
Step 2: Enter the email address associated with your ABCmouse account (if you enter an email address other than the one you signed up with, you won't receive the magic link email).

On the app: Tap the Log In button, then Log in with email.

On a web browser: From the ABCmouse login page at https://www.abcmouse.com/abc/login/, click the Send login link button.
Step 3: A Check your email screen will appear. Keep this screen open in the app or on the website while you go to your inbox. If you close the screen, the magic login link will not work.
Step 4: Open the email from ABCmouse and click the Log in to ABCmouse link.
That's it — you'll be signed in on the device you used to request the link and the device where you clicked the email link.
If you are logging in ABCmouse on another device, you'll see a screen letting you know You're all set! and can close that screen.
Signing In Across Multiple Devices
For most members, signing in with a magic link is straightforward: you request a link on your phone, tablet, or computer, check your email on that same device, click the link, and you're in.
If your family uses ABCmouse across multiple devices — for example, if a parent manages the account and their email on their phone while a child plays on a tablet — our magic link login system has you covered there, too. Request the login link on your child's device, click the email link on your device, and both will be logged in to ABCmouse.
If you have another child on a third device, you'll need to request another login link from that device (unless you can access your email from that device).
Logging in with Passwords
The new magic link option is our recommended way to sign in to ABCmouse for simplicity and security, but you can always use your email and password. Just click Log in with password on the app or web login screen to instantly switch back to the traditional method.
Other Important Details
- Links expire after 15 minutes. If you don't click the link within that window, you can always request a new one.
- Each link can only be used once. Once clicked, the link is no longer valid.
- If you request a new link, any previously sent links will stop working immediately.

Do I need to do anything special to activate or set up magic link?
There is no setup required. The magic link option will be available for all subscribers using ABCmouse (v. 1.64+) automatically. Just enter the email address associated with your account on the sign-in screen and choose Send login link.

I don't see the "Send login link" button on my ABCmouse app?
If you don't see Send login link as an option on the ABCmouse app sign-in screen, you should update your app to the newest version. You will need at least version 1.64.

What if I don't have access to my email account right now?
You can always click Log in with password on the sign-in screen and log in the traditional way if you don't have access to your email program or account.
- I'm not receiving the magic link email. What should I do?
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Make sure you entered the correct email address for your account (most families have more than one email address but only one will be associated with your ABCmouse account).
- Make sure you are checking the correct email account (you may have entered the correct address for ABCmouse but are checking a different account).
- Go back to the login screen and click Resend login link to request a new magic link.
- If you're still having trouble, click the Help icon in the bottom-right corner of this page to start a Customer Care chat.

What if my link has expired?
If your magic link has expired, you'll see a message letting you know. Simply go back to the login screen and click Resend login link to get a new one.

I have both ABCmouse and ABCmouse Classic. How does this affect me?
The magic link login option is available for ABCmouse only at this time. You'll continue to sign in to ABCmouse Classic with your email and password as usual.

If I use ABCmouse Basic, can I use a magic link?
No. Free ABCmouse Basic users do not need to log in to the program, so there is no comparable login screen or need to use the magic link option.

What if I'm already logged in on from a device with a different account?
If you tap or click a magic link on a device that's already signed in to a different ABCmouse account, you'll be asked which account you'd like to use. Your accounts will never be switched automatically — the choice is always yours.

If I previously had an ABCmouse account and want to resubscribe, can I use the magic link to log back in?
Yes. If you want to resubscribe to ABCmouse, download and open the new ABCmouse app (or go to the web login page at https://www.abcmouse.com/abc/login/), then enter the email address used for your previous ABCmouse account and click the Send login link button. You'll be logged in to your previous account and will be able to choose a new subscription (monthly, semi-annual, annual). If you have more than one email address and aren't sure which one you used, you can try each address one-by-one. Whichever account get the login email from us is the one that has your previous account attached. After you finish resubscribing, you'll have full access to the program, profiles, and progress from where you left off.
