If you would like to stop renewing your ReadingIQ subscription, you can cancel at any time through Parent Settings in the ReadingIQ app or on the ReadingIQ.com website. Canceling your subscription prevents future renewal charges, but you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Follow the steps below to manage your subscription and complete cancellation using the app or website.
Please note that if you also have an ABCmouse account, canceling ABCmouse does not cancel ReadingIQ, and canceling ReadingIQ does not cancel ABCmouse.

Access My Shelf
Open the ReadingIQ app, or log in from the website, and go to the home screen (app or website).
- Tap the My Shelf icon (bottom left on app, top right on web).
Open Parent Settings
To open Parent Settings:
- Tap the gear icon in the upper-right corner of My Shelf.
On the ReadingIQ website:
- Select Parent Settings from the top menu.
Enter Your Password
For account security, Parent Settings requires password verification.
- Enter your account password.
- Select Submit.
Open Manage Account
Once Parent Settings opens:
- Select Manage Account.
Cancel Your ReadingIQ Subscription
From the Manage Account screen:
- Select Manage Subscription.
- Choose Cancel Subscription.
Confirm Cancellation
Before cancellation is completed, ReadingIQ may ask you to confirm your request and to select a reason for canceling (optional). Review the information on the screen and then:
- Choose a reason for canceling, or select Other.
- Tap Cancel My Subscription / Submit My Cancellation.
- Enter your password again, if prompted.
- A confirmation message will appear once your subscription has been successfully canceled.
Good to Know
- Continued access: You will still have full access to ReadingIQ until the end of your current billing period.
- No future charges: Your subscription will not renew after cancellation.
- No refunds: ReadingIQ subscriptions are prepaid and non-refundable.
- Resubscribe anytime: You can restart your subscription at any time from your account settings.
