Changing a Child Profile Name in ABCmouse Classic

To update a Child Profile name, go to the Parent Section, navigate to Manage Profiles, and select the child’s name for editing. While the name can be changed, the profile’s learning history remains the same. This article provides step-by-step instructions for modifying profile names.

Edit Name

To edit the name of a Child Profile, follow the steps below in the ABCmouse Classic app.

1. Tap the gear icon at the top of the screen in the ABCmouse Classic app.
   
   

    

2. Select Parent Section.
   
   
    
3. Enter your account password to access the Parent Home page.
   
   
    
4. Click/tap the Settings panel.
   
   
    
5. Select the Child Profile you would like to edit.
   
   
    
6. Select the User Profile panel at the top.
   
   
7. Select First Name to begin editing.
   • Your changes will be saved automatically.
     
     

How can I change the name pronunciation for a Child Profile?

To adjust a user’s name pronunciation, follow the steps below.

• Please note that this feature is currently available only on a desktop or laptop computer.

• If your child’s name pronunciation is not available, you can submit a request to our Developer Team. Simply click or tap the Help icon to send your details.
