ABCmouse Classic Child Profile Settings

You can view or update your child’s profile details—such as their birth year, avatar name, or grade level—at any time through the Parent Section. This can help ensure the Learning Path is personalized to your child’s age and learning needs. Follow the steps below to access and adjust each child’s profile settings.

Steps to View or Change a Child Profile’s Settings

To view or update your child’s profile:

On a computer:

1. Log in to your account at www.ABCmouse.com, then select the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
   
   

2. Select the Parent Section.
   
   
    

3. Enter your account password to access the Parent Section.
   
   
    

4. Select Settings.
   
   
    

5. Click the child’s profile you want to edit.
   
   

    

6. You can view or change the child’s:

   • Name

   • Birth year

   • Grade level

   • Avatar

On a mobile device:

1. Open the ABCmouse Classic app and sign in to your account. Then, tap the gear icon (⚙).
   
   
    

2. Select Parent Section.
   
   

3. Enter your account password.
   
   
    

4. Tap Settings or Manage Child Profiles.
   
   
    

5. Select the child profile you'd like to update.
   
   

These settings can include the following:

• General
  • User Profile
    • Includes the child's name, birthdate, and a delete profile button.
  • Learning Path Level
    • Contains descriptions of each Learning Level to help you choose the best Level for your child.
  • Teacher
    • Choose which Teacher Avatar is displayed in the classroom, or select Random.
• Permissions
  • Ticket Spending
    • Disable or reactivate a Child Profile’s ability to spend Tickets.
      • Selecting the disable option will prompt the user for the account password to allow purchases to process.
  • Time Limit
    • Activate, edit, or disable the Timer feature to limit time spent on ABCmouse Classic.
• Audio
  • Background Music
  • Ticket Machine Sound Effects
    • Both can be turned on or off.
