The Hamster zone in the My World section of ABCmouse combines fun, creativity, and learning. Children can build mazes, solve challenges, and care for their very own hamsters. Simply click on the Hamster in the upper-right section of My World to get started.
Getting Started
- When your child enters the Hamster zone for the first time, they’ll see a surprise pop-up that lets them choose their first hamster.
- The first hamster is free. No tickets are required, so kids can start playing right away!
Unlocking Additional Hamsters
- After accepting their first hamster, children can unlock more pets by earning tickets.
- Tickets are earned by completing activities throughout ABCmouse 2.
- Once enough tickets are collected, they can be used to purchase additional hamsters.
- Your child can have 3 hamsters in their maze.
Activities in the Hamster Area
Watch the hamster explore: The hamster moves around the cage and interacts with the hamster wheels or water dispenser. This helps children learn by observing animal behavior in a playful way.
Give it treats: Children can tap on the food bowl to give their hamster a snack. Treats disappear after they are used.
Maze Building: Kids can design unique hamster mazes and watch their pets explore the paths.
Use special items: Some seasonal or earned items can be added to the cage for more variety and fun.
