The Progress section lets you follow your child’s progress through their Reading and Math Learning Paths. You can see their current grade level, current unit, upcoming units, and completed lessons.

View Your Child’s Progress

Open the ABCmouse app and log in if needed.
- Click on the Avatar/profile icon in the upper-left corner.
- Click on Settings in the lower-left corner (you may be prompted to enter your birth year or password).
Once you are in Settings: Under ABCmouse Premium, click a child to view their progress.
- Review your child’s current learning level and progress.
Learning Path Progress
You’ll see your child’s current learning level for Math or Reading.
For example, the Math Progress page may show:
- Current math level: 2nd Grade
- 18 lessons | 8 units
A short description also explains the skills your child will work on at that level.
Current Unit
The Current unit section shows the unit your child is currently working on.
Each unit includes a progress indicator, such as 0/2 or 0/3, showing the number of lessons completed out of the total lessons in that unit.
Select the arrow next to a unit to expand it and view the individual lessons.
For example:
Unit 2: I can add and subtract three-digit numbers.
1/2 lessons completed
When expanded, you can see the lessons included in the unit.
Next Up
The Next up section shows the unit your child will work on after completing their current unit.
This gives you a preview of the skills your child will learn next in their Learning Path.
Full Learning Path
The Full Learning Path displays all units included in your child’s current Reading or Math level.
Select Expand all to view the lessons within all units.
Each unit shows:
- The unit number
- The learning goal
- The number of lessons completed, such as 0/2 or 0/3
- An arrow to expand or collapse the unit
Switch Between Reading and Math
You can switch between Reading and Math using the tabs at the top of the Progress page. Each subject has its own Learning Path with grade-level units and skills.
Tip: Progress updates as your child completes activities in their Learning Path.
Other Ways to Track Your Child’s Progress
In addition to the Reading and Math Learning Paths, you can use these features to follow your child’s learning:
Daily Learning Quest
Activities completed each day within the Daily Learning Quest are marked with a star, making it easy to track your child’s daily progress.
Your child can earn up to 10 check marks by completing activities in the quest. When they earn 6 stars, they unlock a Dance Party achievement as a fun reward for their efforts.
Assessment Center
Premium subscribers can add the Assessment Center to their account. The Assessment Center provides short, skill-based assessments in areas such as Reading and Math to help you understand your child’s strengths and areas where they may need additional support.
To access the Assessment Center:
- Select the Change User icon in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Select Assessment Center at the bottom of the menu.
If you’re currently a Basic user, you can upgrade to Premium to access the Assessment Center.
