The Assessment Center is an optional add-on subscription available to ABCmouse Premium Access members (not ABCmouse Basic users). It offers advanced tools to understand your child’s learning journey and provide personalized activity recommendations.
An Assessment Center subscription can be added during the ABCmouse sign-up process or at any time later from the ABCmouse app or website. In each case, the Assessment Center will be a separate, additional subscription charge on your account.

The Assessment Center cost depends on the ABCmouse Premium plan you select:

How You Can Subscribe to the Assessment Center
Before you start:
If you purchased the Assessment Center for ABCmouse Classic, you do not need to purchase again in ABCmouse. You'll see a link to the Assessment Center next to the link to Settings. Learn more in About the Assessment Center in ABCmouse.
If you purchased the Assessment Center during your ABCmouse sign-up, you will be able to access it from within the ABCmouse app or website at any time. Learn more in About the Assessment Center in ABCmouse.
Steps to Purchase from the ABCmouse App or Website
Click the profile/avatar icon in the upper-left corner of ABCmouse
Click Assessment Center in the side panel that opens.
Review the screens that describe the benefits of Assessment Center, and click the See Plans button when you'd like to see your purchasing options (Annual or Monthly plans and pricing).
Scroll down to see the available offer(s). Click the checkbox next to the offer and then click the Submit button. If you decide you don't want to purchase an Assessment Center subscription, simply click the X in the upper-left corner to return to the ABCmouse app.
Confirming Your Assessment Center Subscription
- If you are not sure if you have an active subscription to the Assessment Center or when your subscription will be billed, you can check all your active subscriptions from your Manage Account screen in the ABCmouse program.

Click the avatar icon in the upper-left corner of ABCmouse, then click Settings at the bottom of the side panel. On the Settings screen, click Manage My Account and then scroll down to the Membership Details section. This will show your subscriptions. If you see Assessment Center marked Active, you can click the arrow in that box to see your next billing date and other details.
If You Purchased the Assessment Center with ABCmouse Classic
If you subscribed to the Assessment Center with our original ABCmouse Classic program, it will also be available when you log in to ABCmouse with the same credentials.
Assessment results do not transfer between programs.
Your child can retake assessments in ABCmouse Classic and receive new personalized activity recommendations.
Good to Know
The Assessment Center is a separate subscription in addition to ABCmouse Premium Access.
You will see two charges—for ABCmouse and Assessment Center—if you added the Assessment Center. The timing of the charges may vary depending on when you signed up for each and what timeframe the subscriptions are (monthly, annual, semi-annual).
Assessment Center is optional—your child will still enjoy the full ABCmouse learning experience without it.
Many parents find Assessment Center especially helpful for confirming how their child's learning is progressing, targeting areas of improvement, and supporting learning goals.
