Personalize the Learning Paths
With ABCmouse, each child has their own Math and Reading Learning Path, personalized to the grade level you choose for each subject. As they complete lessons in sequence, they build skills steadily while moving through the Path at a pace that works for them.
To make sure your child gets the most out of the program:
Set each Learning Path to the grade level that best reflects their current learning needs in that subject.
Adjust one subject to a higher or lower grade level if your child is ready for more challenge or would benefit from extra practice. This helps ensure the activities meet them right where they are.
To update these settings, click the Settings button in the upper-right corner of the My Learning Paths screen.
Encourage Exploration of Different Subjects
ABCmouse offers a wide range of subjects, including reading, math, science, social studies, art, and music. Exploring multiple areas helps children build critical thinking and problem-solving skills while keeping learning fresh and engaging.
Encourage your child to:
Visit My Classroom to dive into core academic subjects.
Explore My World to strengthen life skills like independence, focus, and healthy routines.
Tip: Let your child choose which new subjects to try. When kids take the lead, they feel more independent and stay excited about learning.
Take Advantage of the Many Types of Learning Activities
With over 13,000 activities, ABCmouse is designed to keep children engaged while reinforcing key concepts. Encourage your child to try different activity types, such as:
Games
Puzzles
Songs
Quizzes
Tip: Use the “Show What You Know” quizzes and assessments to measure understanding of important concepts.
Celebrate Daily Learning Quest
Each activity your child finishes earns them a star. Once 6 stars are collected in the Daily Activity Quest, a Dance Party achievement is unlocked! Then your child will be motivated to try to complete them all!
Encourage motivation by rewarding your child with time in their favorite My World zones, such as Pet Park, Hamster, or Bot Beats.
Tip: Use built-in rewards like tickets to customize pets or environments as incentives for completing activities or reaching milestones.
