How Free Access Works
With a Basic Access Account, your child can complete up to 10 curated lessons per day. These lessons are selected from the complete ABCmouse curriculum and cover multiple subjects, including reading, math, science, and art.
- Once the daily limit is reached, additional activities are locked.
- The next day, a new set of 10 activities will be available.
- Families can explore at their own pace while deciding if a full membership is the right choice.

Singing up for the Free Basic tier of ABCmouse
When you open the app for the first time after downloading you will see a screen like the following one giving you the choice of Premium Access (shown on top) and Basic Access (on bottom). Note: The Try It Free button is NOT for the free Basic Access tier; it is to start a free trial of the paid Premium tier. Click on the box that says Basic Access instead if you want to get started with Basic. You can always upgrade at a later time if you want the unlimited access and additional features that come with Premium.
