Common Printing Issues & Fixes
1. The Print Button Isn’t Responding
Try refreshing or restarting the app or browser.
Make sure your device is connected to the internet.
If you’re using a desktop browser, ensure pop-up windows are allowed (some print dialogs open in a pop-up).
2. Printer Not Found or Not Connected
Confirm your printer is powered on and has paper.
Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
Restart your printer and the device you're using to print.
On mobile devices, open another app (like Notes or Safari) and try printing a test page to verify the connection.
3. The Certificate Doesn’t Print or Is Cut Off
Check your printer’s paper size and settings. ABCmouse Classic certificates are formatted for standard U.S. letter paper (8.5 x 11 inches).
Ensure the printer settings are not set to "Fit to Page" or "Shrink to Fit" if it’s cutting off parts of the design.
Try printing in landscape orientation if the certificate appears too small or off-center.
4. Printer Dialog Doesn’t Open
Some browsers and operating systems block automatic print dialogs.
Manually press Ctrl + P (Windows) or Command + P (Mac) to open the print window.
On mobile, select the share icon and choose Print from the options (if the print dialog doesn't appear automatically).
Still Not Working?
If none of the above steps solve your printer issue:
Restart your computer or device and try again.
Try using a different device, such as switching from a tablet to a desktop or laptop.
Make sure your browser or app is up to date.
Restart your Wi-Fi router, especially if you're using a wireless printer.

Tip: Save as PDF
If you’re unable to print right away, you can also save the certificate as a PDF using your print dialog options. That way, you can come back and print it later from any device!
