How the Arkansas Literacy Tutoring Grant Program Works

2. Selection of Approved Tutors – Families can choose from a list of DESE-approved tutors, ensuring students receive instruction from qualified professionals.

To ensure a smooth reimbursement process, families should follow these steps when submitting an invoice:

1. Confirm Eligibility – Families must reside in Arkansas and have a student who has been identified as eligible for the Literacy Tutoring Grant.

3. Receive Invoice & Submit to ClassWallet – Once the invoice is received, families must submit it through ClassWallet for approval.
4. DESE Approval – The Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education reviews and approves the invoice within four working days.
