ABCmouse offers a digital learning platform for children ages 2–8. Our award-winning curriculum is distributed across several Learning Levels from Toddler through 2nd Grade and each Level includes various age-appropriate activities.
Subjects include Math, Science, Art and Colors, Social Studies, Reading and Writing, Music, and more! Children can follow our Step-by-Step Learning Path to learn through the sequence of preset activities based on their Learning Level. They can also play—and learn—through specific categories in the Classroom page.
For the younger audience, we offer a Basics section. This area offers the basic building blocks of education: Alphabet, Numbers, Shapes, Sight Words, and Word Families. It also offers a link to some of our basic activities in Spanish.
ABCmouse also features a rewards system that motivates children to learn, with Tickets distributed after completing an activity and end-of-lesson prizes. Children can use the Tickets to decorate their individual avatars, as well as “purchase” things for their Aquarium, Hamster Maze, Room, and Pet Park. The prizes chosen after completing a lesson are automatically added to the item-specific inventory.
While activities and curriculum offered through ABCmouse are presented as game activities, every activity is specially designed on a firmly structured academic framework. This is designed to allow children to play and remain attentive to the activities while enforcing fundamental building blocks without losing interest. Kids can play for as long as they like and may not realize they are learning!
