ABCmouse Search helps children quickly find games, books, videos, songs, art activities, and other learning content throughout ABCmouse. Search is available on the ABCmouse website and in version 1.62 or later of the ABCmouse app. Children can use Search to discover new activities, find favorite content to enjoy again, and explore topics that interest them.

Where to Find Search
Search is available from the Home screen and the Classroom.
To open Search:
- Select the magnifying glass icon.
How to Search
After opening Search:
- Select the search field.
- Enter a keyword, topic, or activity name.
- Select the arrow button to view results.
- Select any result to launch the activity.
Search can find many types of ABCmouse learning activities, including:
- Games
- Books
- Videos
- Songs
- Art activities
Personalized Recommendations
When you open Search, you will see personalized activity selections even before you enter any search terms.
These activities may include:
- Most Played activities (replay favorite games)
- Recommended activities
The activities displayed are personalized for each child profile and will change over time based on usage and learning interests.
This can be a great way to quickly find favorite activities to play again or discover new content.
Search by Topic or Interest
You do not need to know the exact title of an activity to use Search.
Try entering a keyword or topic that interests your child, such as:
- Space
- Dinosaurs
- Animals
- Music
- Art
Search will return related content across ABCmouse, including games, books, videos, songs, and other learning activities.
For example, searching for "NASA" will help your child find the Space category, which was created in partnership with NASA) as well as other space-related content. Searching for "stacking" is a quick way to find our most popular stacking games and other activities.
Check Your App Version
Search is available on the ABCmouse website and in version 1.62 or later of the ABCmouse app.
To check your app version:
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Locate the version number.
If your app version is earlier than 1.62, update the ABCmouse app to access Search.
