Guided Learning in ABCmouse is delivered through the Step-by-Step Learning Path—a carefully structured series of lessons designed by our team of curriculum experts. It provides a sequenced, goal-oriented path that helps children build foundational skills across subjects, one step at a time.
Each Learning Path is tailored to your child’s current Learning Level, ensuring the material is developmentally appropriate while offering just the right level of challenge.
How Guided Learning Works
Your child begins each session on the Learning Path with a clearly defined lesson objective. Every lesson contains three to five linked activities, such as:

In this mode, your child can navigate the ABCmouse environment freely and select individual activities by subject, topic, or type—from reading games and puzzles to music, math, science, and more.
How to Use Exploration Mode
You can access Exploration mode from the Classroom screen or other areas of the ABCmouse world, such as:
