Toddler Time includes many activities appropriate for very young children, but the activities are not presented in a specific sequence. Our recommendation for children of this age is that you simply help them to find lessons and games that they enjoy doing. Since every activity on ABCmouse has one or more specific learning objectives, they will be learning no matter what they choose.
The learning objectives of Toddler Time include developing oral vocabulary, introducing the alphabet, numbers and shapes, songs that help children become more aware of how words sound and how they can be similar and different in sound, puzzles that help develop eye-hand coordination and problem-solving skills, art activities that give children opportunities to be creative while learning more about the elements of visual art (color, line, texture, etc.), and reviewing subject-area content.
Toddler Time is just one of the many levels available on our Step-by-Step Learning Path. The Learning Path offers an easy-to-follow, preset sequence of activities that helps children learn the academic basics necessary for success. When your child has completed all of the content provided on their current Learning Level, they will “graduate” and advance to the next level. Our ABCmouse Early Learning Academy program offers content for Toddler Time, Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade.
