What You’ll See in the Classroom
Depending on how you access ABCmouse, the Classroom layout may vary:
-
ABCmouse app (iOS or Android)
-
Web browser (desktop or laptop)
On all devices, you will see:
-
A row of category buttons across the top of the screen (Reading, Math, Art)
-
Clickable items inside the Classroom (bookshelves, tables, posters). Clicking on these will open related learning activities.
Tip: See How to Access the Classroom for more details.
How Difficulty Levels Are Determined
The difficulty of activities in the Classroom is generally set by your child’s Learning Path level.
ABCmouse has 10 Learning Path levels, with two levels per grade:
| Grade Level | Learning Path Levels |
|---|---|
| Preschool | Level 1 & Level 2 |
| Pre-K | Level 3 & Level 4 |
| Kindergarten | Level 5 & Level 6 |
| 1st Grade | Level 7 & Level 8 |
| 2nd Grade | Level 9 & Level 10 |
For example:
-
Level 3 → Early Pre-K difficulty
-
Level 10 → Late 2nd Grade difficulty
If your child’s Learning Path is set to Level 10 and they click on the Math area in the Classroom, they will see 2nd-grade-level math activities.
Note: Many children benefit from a Learning Path that is slightly above or below their actual school grade level. Adjust as needed to find the right fit. Learn more about the activities on each Learning Path level.
How to Change the Difficulty of Classroom Activities
To adjust activity difficulty:
-
Change your child’s Learning Path level.
-
