How do I change a Child Profile’s settings?

The settings for a Child Profile can be updated at any time from the Parent Section.

To change Child Profile settings, please see the following steps:

1. Select the Gear icon at the top right of your screen.
2. Select the Parent Section icon.
3. Enter your account password to access the Parent Homepage.
4. Click/tap the Settings panel.
5. Select a Child Profile to edit the individual settings for them.

These settings can include the following:

• General
  • User Profile
    • Includes the child's name, birthdate, and a delete profile button.
  • Learning Path Level
    • Contains descriptions of each Learning Level to help you choose the best Level for your child.
  • Teacher
    • Choose which Teacher Avatar is displayed in the classroom, or select Random.
• Permissions
  • Ticket Spending
    • Disable or reactivate a Child Profile’s ability to spend Tickets.
      • Selecting the disable option will prompt the user for the account password to allow purchases to process.
  • Time Limit
    • Activate, edit, or disable the Timer feature to limit time spent on ABCmouse.
• Audio
  • Background Music
  • Ticket Machine Sound Effects
    • Both can be turned on or off.
