If you would like to invite families to use ABCmouse from home, send them an invitation letter from the Send Lesson Home located on the Teacher Section.
Please note that your Teacher Section and all Teacher features are only available when using a desktop or laptop computer.
Once families create their connected accounts, they will be allowed limited access the My Lessons folder. Parents/caregivers and students will be able to view any assigned lessons from home as long as the device is connected to the internet.

How do I email an Invitation Letter to families?
For instructions on how to email an Invitation Letter to parents/caregivers, please refer to the following:
- Go to the Teacher Section.
- Click/tap Send Lessons Home.
- Select Add Email.
- Enter the Email Address of the parents/caregivers.
- Select Save to move on to the next student.
- Select Email Invitations towards the bottom of your page.
How do I print an Invitation Letter for families?
If you do not know the email address of the parents/caregivers, you can print out the Invitation Letter to send it home.
For instructions on how to do this, please refer to the following:
- Go to the Teacher Section.
- Select Send Lessons Home.
- Add a green check mark to the respective student(s).
- Select Print Invitations towards the bottom of your page.
This will open a new tab labeled pdfserviceproxy.php, which you can download to your computer or print.
Please note that the access codes are specific to each student. With this in mind, it is important that the correct invitation is given to each student’s family so that they do not claim the code for another child.
Can I resend an Invitation Letter?
If families have not redeemed their code yet, you can provide the code again by selecting the Print Invitations or Email Invitations buttons on the Send Lessons Home page.
How many times can a family redeem their student code?
Families only need to use their code once to link their child’s school account to their home account. If they have already redeemed the code, they will only need their email and password to log in to ABCmouse, even on new devices.
How do teachers know if families redeemed their student codes?
Once families create their connected accounts, you will see their name listed at the bottom.
