When two or more teacher accounts are linked together, students are able to access their ABCmouse accounts no matter which linked teacher account is logged in on the devices they are using. This can be especially convenient when students are using ABCmouse.com in classrooms or in a computer lab.
To link teacher accounts, each teacher must register for their own free classroom account and add their own students. Once registered, use one teacher account to invite your participating teachers.
Please note that your Teacher Section and all Teacher features are only available when using a desktop or laptop computer.

How do I link a teacher account?
To link a teacher account, please see the following steps:
- Go to the Teacher Dashboard.
- Click Link Teachers under Classroom Tools.
- Fill in the Group Name box.
- Please only have one teacher in your school create a group and send out the invitation letters.
- Click on Create Group.
- Select Add Teacher.
- Enter the teacher's email address to Send Request.
- The email address you enter must be the address the teacher used to set up their ABCmouse.com account.
How do I accept a Link Teacher invitation?
To accept a Link Teacher invitation, each invited teacher must log in to their ABCmouse account. Please see the steps below:
- Go to the Teacher Dashboard.
- Click Link Teachers under Classroom Tools.
- Click the Invitations button to view the current or pending Invitations sent by other teachers.
- Select Accept, which will update your Student Login page.
Note: Any teacher accounts that are displaying in an older site layout will not have the same interface and will need to be updated before the teacher accounts can be linked. Please have any teacher using an outdated version of the site contact us directly for assistance in updating their account.
What happens when a teacher accepts a Link Teacher request?
Once accepted, students and teachers will be able to simply enter www.ABCmouse.com into the browser to go directly to the All Students Login page. This page will now show students from all of the linked teachers in the group. There, the student or teacher can select the image of their own Avatar to log in to their ABCmouse.com profile.
Does the Link Teacher feature allow teachers the ability to share Playlist and student settings?
The Link Teacher feature is intended to help schools who are required to share devices. The Student Login page is the only area linked teachers have the ability to access.
All teacher accounts are password protected to prevent others from creating lessons, making changes or logging out without the teacher's permission. Any teachers who have accepted the invitation will not be able to change things on another account.
How do I unlink a linked teacher account?
To unlink a linked teacher account, please see the steps below:
- Go to the Teacher Dashboard.
- Click Link Teachers under Classroom Tools.
- Select Remove.
