Teachers can edit student profiles in ABCmouse to personalize each student’s learning experience. Profile changes can include the student’s name, ability to spend tickets, and Learning level to name a few. These updates help tailor content to match individual student needs. This article provides step-by-step instructions for teachers on how to update student profile information through the ABCmouse Teacher Dashboard.
Please note that your Teacher Dashboard and all Teacher features are only available when using a desktop or laptop computer.
If you would like to update a Student Profile, please see the following steps:
- Go to the Teacher Dashboard.
- Select Student Setting under Classroom Tools.
- Click the blue pencil icon next to the profile you'd like to edit.
- You can add or change the following information:
- Student Name
- Learning Level
- Use the dropdown arrow to select the appropriate level for the student.
- Language
- Use the dropdown arrow to select how the Student homepage presents the main categories.
- All the content will still remain teaching your students their English Language Skills
- Spend Tickets
- Prevents students from using their Tickets.
- Gender
- Passcode
- You can now create image passcodes to prevent students from inadvertently accessing other users' accounts.
- Family Contact Email
- Used to provide student with limited access from home
- Select Save after entering all the necessary information.
